Snow-Themed Entertainment
At Santa’s Wonderland, we have a host of snow-themed activities this season that will appeal to every member of the family:
- Frostbite’s Mountain: Snow tubing in Texas! Grab your friends, grab your tube, and race down one of our snow tubing lanes!
- Snow Playground: A designated outdoor snow play area where guests and families can build snowmen, snow angels, dig tunnels, create towers, build forts, or construct anything imaginable! Our snow play area is particularly ideal for guests of all ages.
- Nightly Texas Snow: It also snows every night in Santa’s Wonderland. Catch snowflakes or take pictures in the snowfall with friends and family.
- Toboggan Chute Race: Race your friends down our twin roller lanes that shoot through a snow-covered tunnel.
Snow Making for Our Snow-Themed Entertainment
When we think of all the enjoyable snow activities we have to offer at Santa’s Wonderland, the question we receive most is, “How do you guys get the snow?” As you may or may not know, Texas sees its fair share of chilly temps during our annual season of operation (Nov 8th through Dec 30th), however, snow is a different story altogether. To bring real snow to our guests daily, we rely on the ICS™ snowmaking technology of SnowMagic.
SnowMagic’s ICS™ technology can create up to 200 tons of snowfall a day regardless of ambient temperature. This means that we can easily incorporate snow into our features and activities throughout the season without having to rely on the weather! As a bonus, SnowMagic’s snowmaking machine does not require the addition of any chemicals or artificial additives, making it safe for the children, the animals, and the environment!
